Yellow Split Pea Soup
Chop an onion, throw ingredients in the electric pressure cooker, hold your morning meeting, and lunch is ready when you’re done.

Cook Time: 21 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- Minced garlic
- 2 cups split yellow peas
- 5 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- Optional greens (any of the following: kale, spinach, mustard)
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Chop onion.
- Saute if you have time in an Instant Pot. or add with other ingredients.
- Add remaining ingredients to the Instant Pot, excluding the greens, salt and pepper.
- Set for 11 minutes, and use natural pressure release when done. That is, don’t immediately release the steam valve, but wait at least 10 minutes.
- Add greens to the pot
